Data Engineer

Engineering · Design, build and run the data infrastructure and pipelines behind the MyC platform.

Mission

As a Data Engineer reporting to Soheib (CTO), you’ll master our complete data stack to design, build and deploy scalable data infrastructures and pipelines that unlock MyC’s data potential. Working at the intersection of technology and business intelligence, you’ll architect robust data systems handling high-volume, real-time processing while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Your expertise will transform raw data into actionable insights, implement data governance best practices, and maintain our data ecosystem’s integrity. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to ensure seamless organizational data flow. This position offers opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to strategic decisions directly impacting MyC’s growth and innovation.

The role demands technical excellence and strategic thinking, as you’ll establish data standards, optimize existing workflows, and anticipate future scalability requirements supporting our expanding business needs.

You’ll have freedom to elaborate strategic decisions and take responsibility for security initiatives, driving projects from conception to completion with minimal oversight and maximum impact on our security posture.

Key responsibilities

Engineering architecture

  • Serve as our hands-on, go-to Data Engineer, driving the design, construction, and maintenance of the data infrastructure that powers our product and business operations, including data stores, pipelines, ELT processes, and search capabilities.
  • Shape and evolve the data platform architecture to continuously enhance scalability, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Delivery and execution

  • Lead and execute the data and analytics roadmap to fuel business, product, and operational success.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Operations to understand requirements and deliver high-quality, reliable datasets that drive results.
  • Drive continuous improvement of data quality, security, governance, and observability, ensuring data is accessed, processed, and stored according to internal and regulatory standards.

Data quality and compliance

  • Implement robust data validation, monitoring, and alerting systems.
  • Ensure comprehensive data traceability and documentation.
  • Maintain healthcare-grade security standards.
  • Drive compliance initiatives (HIPAA, GDPR, depending on geography).

About you

  • You bring 5+ years of experience in data engineering, building and scaling reliable data pipelines that support real business needs.
  • You’re confident in Python and SQL, and you care about writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • You’ve worked with modern data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift, and know how to optimize both performance and cost.
  • You’re comfortable in cloud-native environments and familiar with SaaS architectures, CI/CD, and containerized workflows.
  • You understand how to model data effectively, designing structures that are both scalable and easy to use for analytics.
  • You have hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, and apply best practices around infrastructure and security.
  • You take a pragmatic approach to security, balancing strong protection with usability and business impact.
  • You thrive in fast-moving environments, adapt quickly, and enjoy taking ownership in situations that aren’t always clearly defined.
  • You communicate clearly, making complex topics accessible to non-technical audiences and collaborating easily across teams.
  • You’re comfortable working in English in an international environment.

Data Analyst

Engineering · Turn the data collected by the MyC platform into insights that guide decisions for the company and its customers.

Mission

As a Data Analyst reporting to Soheib (CTO), you’ll turn the data collected by our platform into insights that guide decisions across the company and for our customers. Working at the intersection of product, operations and technology, you’ll define the metrics that matter, build reliable analytics, and make complex data easy to understand and act on.

You’ll collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Product, Operations and Customer teams to ensure that every team has access to trusted, well-documented data. Your work will directly shape how we measure the performance of our platform, understand how medical facilities use it, and identify opportunities to deliver more value.

The role demands both analytical rigor and business sense: you’ll ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and tell a clear story with data. You’ll have the freedom to shape our analytics practice, from the KPI framework to the dashboards and reporting used every day, with minimal oversight and maximum impact.

Key responsibilities

Analytics and insights

  • Serve as our go-to Data Analyst, turning business and product questions into clear, actionable analyses.
  • Define, track and evolve the KPIs that measure product usage, customer value and operational performance.
  • Identify trends, anomalies and opportunities in platform data, and proactively share recommendations with stakeholders.

Reporting and delivery

  • Design, build and maintain dashboards and self-service reports that teams and customers rely on.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Product and Operations to understand needs and deliver high-quality, timely insights.
  • Support the data and analytics roadmap, prioritizing work that drives the greatest business impact.
  • Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Data quality and compliance

  • Validate data accuracy and partner with Data Engineering to fix upstream issues.
  • Document metrics definitions, data sources and methodologies to ensure consistency and traceability.
  • Handle sensitive data responsibly and in line with healthcare-grade security standards.
  • Respect compliance requirements (HIPAA, GDPR, depending on geography).

About you

  • You bring 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence or a similar role, with a track record of insights that drove real decisions.
  • You’re highly proficient in SQL and comfortable with Python (or R) for deeper analysis.
  • You’ve built dashboards and reports with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Metabase or similar.
  • You’ve worked with modern data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift.
  • You understand data modeling and how to structure data for reliable, easy-to-use analytics.
  • You have a solid grasp of statistics and know how to design and interpret analyses rigorously.
  • You take a pragmatic approach to data privacy, balancing strong protection with usability and business impact.
  • You thrive in fast-moving environments, adapt quickly, and enjoy taking ownership in situations that aren’t always clearly defined.
  • You communicate clearly and know how to make complex topics accessible to non-technical audiences.
  • You’re comfortable working in English in an international environment.
